Behind the scenes: fashion shoot in the Italian nightclub "Berfi's"

After the successful shoot “Austerity women”, which resulted in a publication in THE Vogue Italia, we decided to use the same Italian crew to create new, cool shoots. This time in Verona, in Italy! I was invited by the makeup artist Chiara, to stay over for the weekend at her parents’ house, or rather at her parent’s palace! That alone was worth the whole trip! A weekend full Italian familial cosiness, warmth and delicacy :-)

The night I arrived in Italy we had a shoot in a trendy club called Berfi's. The shoot was held in a big room of glass, which allowed people to look at the fashion shoot while partying at the same time. A perfect combination :-) The stylist Giadda, who has a passion for making floral pieces of art, made a floral creation around my body. Lovely to see and it had a great smell as well!

Together with the friendly team, the first night in Verona was immediately a fun experience: having a shoot with DJs and people partying in the background, while having a hint of roses around me! Mmmmmmm ......

Fashion video: "Winter Wings"

The morning after the shoot in nightclub Berfi in Verona, we went to a magical place in the mountains with the team. The team had planned a shoot with two amazing birds: an eagle and an owl. Before we started the shoot, I first needed to "get to know" the birds. Especially with the owl, I had a good "connection" :-). The falconer told me that the breast-shaking of the owl meant that he felt at ease with me. Woop Woop :-)

With a confident feeling I could start with the shoot…. And it turned out to be an amazing experience! Being photographed together with two fantastic animals; following their movements and feeling one with the moment. This was absolutely an unforgettable day, which made my stay in Italy truly special!

A beautiful place, cool birds and a very inspiring Italian team!

I can only say 1 thing: La Vita e Bella!
